Turning Torso Beach

It is more like a concrete beach, and I suspect the water is plenty cold. The only swimmers here were teens and twenties. Nothing like a high place to jump into freezing cold water!

I just missed the teen who dove off of this. You can see the family watching him.

Clearly this is a high rent planned community, but the emphasis seems to be on planned rather than exclusive. The views are great and the community has such appeal becasue of the views, but anyone can come here and walk around and enjoy the cafes. Next blog I will show you the beach.

Water runs through the whole community, but these three fountains are connected. They start with the revolving spheres and end with the falls that flow into the sound. They travel under the walkway for a time.

Last Day in Malmo-Twisted Tower

We had not indented to visit the Twisted Tower of Malmo on our last Sunday. We were just walking around the old city and poking our heads into some shops and one of the shopkeepers mentioned that there were TT tours on Sundays, and he gave us the times. So, we had a leisurly lunch that I wouldn't have missed for the world-Marcia has already blogged about it, but I'll include some photos in this series of blogs. But, the lunch made us 15 min late for the 14:00 tour, and we had been told that there was a 16:00 tour, but there wasn't.

So, we made the best of our time there. I walked all around getting photos of this newly developed neighborhood and the Malmo "beach". Blogs follow.
