Wow, Wow, Wow! The view here is everything anyone could want. I find it hard to keep my eyes off the Bay. Our only regret is that we do not have the Fleetwood Pace Arrow with the huge windshield in the front-the RV we have been lusting after.

Well, the second regret is that the Wi-Fi here is down, but that is also part of wishing we had the new Pace Arrow with a satellite internet connection onboard. Other than that, everything is peachy groovy.

We arrived at low tide yesterday, so there were lots of rocks in front of us. Stella and I explored for a way down to the beach, and though we found it, we also found it wasn’t worth going down there. It is totally rocky and because of the dramatic tides, the rocks nearest the water-probably 50 feet of them, are slippery and covered with seaweed. I see on the map that there are some sandy beaches that we may explore for another Stella beach run.

Our beach access is near the tenting area. These tent camping people, like us, think they have died and gone to heaven. Tents are perched over the Bay of Fundy with little border gardens of wild roses (now sporting rose hips-blossoms are history) and day lilies.

We also explored the little fishing boat wharf on the other side of our RV. The boats were sitting on dry land at the time. Last night, as we watched the sunset, we also noticed the boats rising. This is quite novel for us, and it gives us joy.

Thanks to my super binocs, I was able to watch rolling fins in the water last night. They were way far out (literally as well), and looked like black dolphins. Perhaps they were; dolphins or pilot whales. Guidebooks tell us that this is the best place for whale sighting, so we will plan a going out on a boat type watch. Today’s plan is to drive the Digby Neck in search of a little café (that has Wi-Fi) and great seafood and a whale watch business. It also features excellent sunsets, but so does our campsite.
Note, the boat on the left has an orange safety vest container. On the next boat photo, you can see the same orange safety vest container above the jetty at high tide. Tides here run 25 feet. Great fun to watch things rise and fall-land appears and disappears.

They tell us the Wi-Fi fixer will come on Monday. Lets hope it is easily fixable. Where is that Doctor Byte when we need her??

Addendum: We are occasionally finding a hot spot to check our mail, and maybe get to add to the blog. Our internet “jones” is coming down hard on us. We have been crusing public libraries and logging on in the car, next to the laundry room at the campsite, and now in a conference room of a hotel. It only makes us long for satellite connection in the RV. Alas…..
