Moat Tour

Malmo was a Mideval City complete with castle and city walls and a moat. Our tour boat takes us on a circle around the harbor and the city. There are lots of bridges.




Our boat tour starts here-right in front of Central Station (Train) and on the eastern side of Malmo.



This bridge is on the western side of Malmo. It was built in WWII and has the hooks built in underneath the bridge so that it could be armed and blown up to protect the city. It never had to be blown up, and these days the hooks work well for winter ice skaters to hang up their coats.



Some of the bridges are quite low.

Drawbridges have changed a bit since the Middle Ages.
