We are happily moved into the Phoenix Inn just a few blocks from Stas's home and place of work.  The Phoenix meets all of our needs with an expansive room just spitting distance from the washer and dryer and the heated indoor pool and the ice machine.  The towels are not up to Conrad's standards, but you can have lots of them. 

We had a quick visit with Stas  yesterday and got our initial bearings before he had to go to work.  He had today and has tomorrow off.  We spent the day driving to and up and down the coast remembering our 2007 trip and making new memories with Stas.  It was a lovely day-lots of lovely photos and now we are pretty whupped.  Our bodies still remember that it is 10:30 pm at home when it is just past dinnertime here.  Then again, I am an early riser on the west coast. 

So, right now I am ready to call it a day whether the sun is or not, and we will try to become more acclimated tomorrow.  Perhaps you will get a better blog as well.
